Spa London venues are dotted all around London, and last week ahead of my trip to the Greek Islands, I took myself off to the one in Kensington for some indulgence. This newly opened branch is renowned for their thermal spa experience - a mixture of hot and cold treatments to refresh and reinvigorate. And ladies it's said to help banish cellulite too!
The suggested order of treatments will take you from sizzling to shivering but it sure did awaken my senses. First the steam room, then the sauna, then an ice rub, then a monsoon shower and finally a good soak in the hot tub.
A quick nap in the relaxation room to the tunes of my favourite pianist Ludovico Einaudi (great music choice guys) and then I was ready for my total spa experience with an exfoliation (holiday skin get ready to tan!), facial and hot stone massage. I hadn't experienced Elemis products before but I must say they are divine; the exfoliation was done with coconut and thus quite gentle with a heavenly scent.
